Mother's Day

Mother's day is a special day when we are offered one day to appreciate all the sacrifices our mothers made for all the little and big things in our life ... from our childhood to now and in the future

Sadly not all of us were gifted with a mother who was able to love her children the way she should of ... for she was lost on every path she ever walked

Unable to provide a guiding light or protection ... unable to give parts of herself that should have come naturally ... and unable to step up and be more than an utter disappointment and pure shame

Even as a failure in every way possible those mothers taught us everything we needed to know ... mostly why using past issues as excuses for all the errors in our life is just so damn wrong

It's just a pathetic justification for their own faults and mistakes ... and may the scars upon your soul strike a cord ... prompting you to abandon her way of living ... blaming the world for past, all the while taking no responsibility for anything

There are also those special women who put us first ... women who were more of a mother to us than our own birth mothers

Women who taught us how to love no matter the path we found ourselves standing on

Women you and your heart called Mom

They loved us even when we did wrong ... and encouraged us when we felt there was nothing left for encouraging .... that last moment when you felt like the world just couldn't dish out anything more for you to handle ... your mom shows up

She shows up and gracefully lets you see how to walk that road ... guiding you down the path with her reassuring words and love

So often we never had a true understanding on the love our moms so dedicatedly had within their hearts for us until later in life ... and even now to realize how very supporting they always were ... how our heart smiles feeling that comfort of a love that surrounds us now and always will in the days ahead

Lessons they taught instilled in our hearts will live forever ... they will guide us to be the best we can be ... giving us never ending support long after we grow up and begin to lead our own lives

Those lessons gave us all a beacon we can call upon to show us our way home ... and remind us of what truly matters as our lives unfold

To all the women who were a mom for anyone who needed one ... THANK YOU
